For those of you who didn't know, we stopped in IN to visit with Mark's parents on our way there and on our way back. Our visit on the way back was shorter, mostly just "hi" and "bye," so we could have time to go try our luck at the casino. My mom and I aren't very lucky, but Mark was! He put $20 into a machine and turned it in to $360! woo hoo! We even have some of it left! lol I won like $2.20! lol I could have won more if I felt like figureing out how to play the game lol I think Mark won another $0.50 and something else. We came out on top, so that is all that counts! So, when you need some luck, just rub Mark for Good Luck! LOL We may try out our luck in Mt. Pleasant next! Then, VEGAS here we come lol yeah right! Kay, I think I have at least one more blog about Chicago. But I'll let you guys catch up on the three I just posted.

Blue Man

Okay, if you have never seen the blue man, or if you were like me, a skeptic, I have some words for you, GO SEE IT NOW (or as soon as you can)!!!! It is the best performance ever! Funny, Interactive, All around GREAT time! Pictures aren't allowed during the performance, so you are going to have to just go see it for yourselves! Here are the pics I did get, which was in the lobby after the show. I took a picture over the crowd of one of them, then as we were exiting I got a picture with another of them. There is a third guy, but I didn't get his picture. It was a little--a LOT-- chaotic trying to get out of there! Kay, have you bought your tickets yet?

Anti-War March

Chicago, IL--March 19th, 2008

I think EVERY cop and swat and security person was out that night in just that one spot. My favorite part was the men with sticks ... a large group of swat guys, with sticks in hand, ready to beat some ass! LOL It was interesting. For those of you who don't know--which was us--there is a anti-war march every year in Chicago, and probably many other cities, around March 20th. Which is the day we began war with Iraq in 2003. So, my mom's birthday and my birthday are "famous"... lovely! BUT it doesn't matter, because I was born before the war started, so my birthday came first! HA! IDK ... You all were waiting for more blogs and now I'm doing them... I think RED is an appropriate color for the symbolism of the 4000+ Americans' blood spilled from this war. Did you know the American death toll hit 4000? Pretty sad huh. I may not agree with the war one bit, but I will ALWAYS support our troops! I love my Tracy and Ben and Tom and Krissy and the random guy that called me on my birthday (lol) and everyone else who I don't know! Thanks for keeping us safe! Now, time for more happy blogs lol

Anyways... How many of you watch Lost? So I was never into the show, until this season. I am obsessed!!! It's ridiculously A-W-E-SO-M-E! (Just the cheerleader coming out in me... haha)

Good thing Blogger has an autosave feature... I hit some combination of keys that closed my window... oops!

Since my poll is coming to an end, I'll put up another one. Make sure you vote! I think I've decided to get long side swept bangs and a trim and maybe some highlights... If the wallet allows lol...

So, I can't wait for my Cricut to arrive! (it's in transit from the U) I am already imagining what I can make with it! You all will get hand made cards on random holidays, like Canadian holidays lol... I'm SUPER excited!

So, I expect to get calls from everyone on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 12:19 AM!!! That is my official birthday! lol... Don't worry I'll still be awake, I'll be drunk dialing all of you! lol

You know those little calanders that liquor stores have that are tear off and say "you must be born on or before {today's date} to buy alcohol"... well, VG's has a couple at the service desk, so I ripped off my birthday page! haha... I have seriously ALWAYS wanted one of those when I turned 21... Now, I have it! yay!

There are 5 days until we leave for Chicago! My car has room for 1-2 more people! Are you sure you can't make it?! Maybe I'll convince one of Mark's sisters or brother in law to join us for a night... I'm trying to come up with an itinerary... So far we have...

Wednesday:

leave sometime in the AM

stop in Mich City to visit Mark's family

Get to Chicago sometime after that

Get all pretty-fied and go to a bar!

Buy a drink at midnight!

Thursday(my birthday):

Keep drinking!

Get calls from everyone at 12:19 am!

Close down the bar! haha j/k

Pass out in the hotel room...(after mark has carried me home! lol j/k again)

Sleep it off...

Do some shopping and sight seeing!

haha! Don't you wish you could be there!? Sounds like a blast right!? I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures to show you about the trip... hopefully, ill have enough memory of them to tell you about! haha... My poor mom is gonna be sick of me after this trip! haha! Nah, it will bring us closer by bonding with alcohol... lol... okay obviously I'm kidding... I need to get back to what I should be doing... homework and studying! Ciao!

The not so adventurous week of M&M

Not much new going on lately... but I've had a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders...

I've been super stressed out lately and the winter doesn't help but I dropped two of my classes, and am doing better now. Much easier to concentrate on one class on campus and two online while working than 5 classes. I may try working only two days a week next fall, it my work out better... for next semester, im also planning on having my classes only on campus 2 days a week... with some online classes. I can take a bunch of online classes and be fine, but going to campus every day of the week sucks and I freak out! I'm just ready for summer to get here! Oh, and my birthday of course! lol ONLY 13 more days!!! YAY!

I guess I've been stressed with Mark and my schedules too. Mark working 10pm-7am Thursday through Monday, me working 4pm-9pm Friday through Monday and schooling noon through 3 Monday through Thursday... maybe now it will be a little better... Me school M and W from 12-2... so we will have the full day Tuesday together... I don't know how you do it Mom, with Ken working so much!

I got my ears repierced... They were closed in the middle (a hole still existed in the front and back...weird huh?) so it didn't hurt... and they had Titanium for a choice (which is hypo-allergenic) so my ears won't freak out now... and they are my birthstone! perfect, right!?

Oh, if anyone wants to come to Chicago, but not the whole time, feel free to take the train and hop over for a day... It will be a fun-filled day!

I need to write some more so that I can use all the colors! lol Hmmm ... Oh! I tried the BEST organic white chocolate from VGs... its made by Green & Blacks! It is yummy! The only problem though is that the first 2 packages I bought were expired... from AUG 07!! lol I didn't even realize until I bought another pack and the design on it was different on the chocolate... lol the expired stuff tasted better than the current stuff lol... it was creamier lol... hmmm idk if thats right haha... okay ... now, go an buy some! its delish!
