<3 our life!
So, I just figured out that I only need 7 more classes to graduate. How freaking awesome is that!? If I could take them all in one semester, I would...LOL! But one is a prereq for another... so I get like two easy last semesters. I thought I had like 10 classes, but my advisor moved stuff around, and it's perfect! Now, I need to start gathering documents for grad school applications. It's so nice to have the end in sight... So, thank God, my life is coming together. It was just a matter of finding the right place, and I know I'm in the right place here. As soon as we moved here, everything began falling together for us. It's amazing! We are buying a home, I'm finishing my degree, I'm getting ready for grad school, and I will be preparing to teach (hopefully). Although, Mark is still at Walmart... So, I guess he still needs a better job.... Just thought I'd bragg... lol Love you guys! We will definitely have a house warming party once we move... I'll be sending out invites when it's time...

Narrowing it down...
So, we have narrowed our house hunt down to 9 homes...
You can see that we deleted some that were on our previous list, and we have added one that we really like.
Although, we are still trying to work everthing out so that we can get Bleck, we want votes for a runner up...
Also, The list of links is now sorted by our favorites.
Mi padre is coming this weekend to check out some with us, so that should be helpful. I'm going to take pics of the heating system at Bleck, so that maybe Uncle Dewight can answer some questions (if we have any left after my Dad's inspection).
Well, off to take the dog for a walk while I have time between rain showers...

Love at first sight... a home that is...
Okay, so I totally LOVE this house. It is foreclosed. It started at $82,500 and has went down $5000 to $77,500 in about a week. Motivated? I'd say so (at least we HOPE so... LOL). Well, here it is: (comments are definitely necessary for viewing... lol)

The Home Buying Roller Coaster
So, buying a home is like a roller coaster... LOL! We were preapproved, then we weren't, now we are... let's just cross our fingers that it stays that way... I think we are running out of lenders... LOL! Going to look at homes next week... (if our realtor calls us... errr!) We will take lots of pics and you can vote! lol School and work are going well... Dog is doing fine...
Love and Miss you all!!

Damn mortgage crisis...
Okay... so I am going to vent... (instead of calling every person who is responsible and bitching at them personally, which I would do if I had TIME... but I don't, so consider yourselves LUCKY)
Anyways, we were preapproved for a house... BUT because of the current mortgage situation, we are no longer preapproved... (the minimum credit score went up 20 pts overnight... ARGH!)
So, because of all the FUCKING people who FORECLOSED on their mortgages and the FUCKING lenders that let people buy a house they could not AFFORD ... we can't get a house!
I don't understand why AMERICANS think they are ENTITLED to living ABOVE their means... It does NOT make sense! Just because some people work hard for their luxuries, does NOT mean you MUST have them too, REGARDLESS of if you can afford it or not.
SERIOUSLY! PAY YOUR DAMN MORTGAGE AND STOP BUYING UNNECESSARY THINGS!
Okay, I totally understand if you lost your job and are continuously searching for a new job... BUT if you have a damn job... come on!
But apparently it's okay... the gov't will bail out the failing banks and anyone else that is failing... AT WHAT COST? oh yeah, US, the PEOPLE, the TAXPAYERS have to PAY for their FAILURE! Then, when WE THE PEOPLE get upset at the OUTRAGEOUS taxation, we are the EXTREMISTS!
FUCK YOU OBAMA and CONGRESS! YEAH, you heard ME... FUCK YOU! The government better start fearing the people... WE ARE HERE! WE WANT TO BE HEARD! DON'T EXPECT TO BE ELECTED NEXT TERM... YOU ARE ALL REPLACEABLE!!

Once we buy a house, we will definitely invite you all down to see it... I love entertaining... so, be ready for LOTS of parties... lol
Kay... we will try to keep you all updated on this process...

Freedom of Speech
This country has an abundance of great freedoms.
Please go and support out freedoms! If you are quiet, our freedoms will vanish. We need to speak out for what we believe!
Visit http://www.teapartyexpress.org/ to see where the tea party will be near you!
Pick up a copy of Glenn Beck's Common Sense. It is a must read for all Americans!
And please, when the local school broadcasts Obama next week, tell them your child will not take part in any of it! You have every right for your children not to be brainwashed by his bs!
Anyways, I'm not sure how many people are still reading my blog after that. If you are still with me, THANKS!
So, I'm not sure how many people my mom told, but I will be done with my (1st) degree in December 2010! YAY! I'm so excited! My degree will be a Bachelor's of Liberal Studies with concentrations in Business and Math/Stats. I think that now I have an end in site, I am much more relaxed and confident. I am enjoying classes so far. I am taking Statistics, Public Speaking, Essentials of Nutrition, and Technical Communication. Speaking of class, I should get to my homework so I can enjoy this weekend.
Feel free to come visit us any time! We are right by Lake Michigan and shopping!
Miss you guys!

Mystery solved...
Got an interesting call today. Alisha called to inform me that my camera has been found! Guess where?
In between the sectional couch at my mom's... WTF? I guess it's all cracked and broken... If the couch isn't fitting together, please check if there is something in the way next time... lol

A New Beginning...
- Label STORAGE Items and go to storage 1st!
(Instead of making more work than necessary). - Pack and Label Everything AHEAD of time!
(I only know where the stuff I packed is... lol) - You don't need to own all of F*ing Meijer! HA!
- People get really stressed from moving!!
(I will have to take some Xanax next time. haha) - Dogs get EXTREMELY stressed from moving!!
(Do they make Xanax for dogs??) - Be greatful for helpful children!
(They are cheap labor! LMAO!) - You do not get to sleep much during a move.
(Have some speed handy... ha!) - A room layout will not come together right...
(Especially when the room wasn't measured before hand)
Kay that's all folks! ha! Can you tell I am tired? Sascha and Mark are already asleep.
Oh, and we are making progress introducing Sascha to Mark's parents. She plays and takes food from his mom just fine, although not quite wagging her tail excited. She doesn't really know Mark's dad because he runs and hides. BUT we have made a breakthrough. He will let her be in her cage with the door to the room open, so she can see him walking back and forth. I took her for a walk today, and she was great, didn't bark at anyone. A little girl even rode over to us on her tricicle and asked to pet her. Unfortunately, I had to deny her, "No, she is in training." I am adding dialog and everything into this blog, although no pictures.... I still have not found my camera, and before we moved we went through every box we have. I must have left it somewhere. Can anyone remember if they've seen it? It is a blue sanyo. Probably has an SD card in it even. The last recorded upload to the computer was 8/17/08, which included the concert of Travis Tritt. Of course those who went know of my condition that night, plastered, haha... so, who knows where it is... Although, there is a video of us at the bar... so that is the last known place of my camera. I bet it is at my mom's or something. Alright, my grammar is getting pretty sloppy; time for bed. BUENAS NOCHES!
Oh, and if you ever want an excuse to go to Chicago, COME VISIT US! or vice-versa...

Goofin around with the dog.
Kay, so this is gonna be short. We have been busy training the dog and attempting to pack and clean the place (we need our deposit back! lol). Anyways, Sascha's new favorite thing is "squirrel". She hears that and perks up. Checks the windows, trees, and everywhere. If we are outside, she knows in exactly which tree the squirrels hide and stares at it. If I move, she creeps along closer. When I stop, she stops and sits watching. Then, I say "go," and she is off to check the tree for squirrels. It is funny. Enjoy the pictures.

Big News!!
So, we have come to the decision to move...again, LOL! We have tired of Michigan. We would love to move to Texas and join in the succession of the union... hahaha! BUT, we need to be near family. So, we chose Indiana. We will now be close to Mark's family. Our tentative date is June 27th...
So far I have packed 5 boxes of clothes. I have planned out what we are keeping out for the time being, just the necessities... but I doubt that will happen... my OCD with making lists and plans is just kicking in... lol... We will be franticly packing at the last minute... haha I hope not. After 4 moves, I hope we can be much more organized...
On another note, I hope you all are watching your Fox News, especially Glen Beck. If not, he is on M-F at 5 pm (channel 50 for most I think) and 9pm on Sat. Not sure about Sundays... If anyone is going to be in the Notre Dame area on Sunday, could you please protest at the University. Seriously, a Catholic University is giving an honorary degree to a Pro-Choice person?? WTF!? Obama is going to ruin our health system with the nationalization of heath care, especially if he makes abortions manditory... What kind of health practicioners will we have then? F that! Seriously... I have the best bumper sticker... haha It says "I'll keep my guns, freedom, & money... You can keep the 'change!'" LMAO!!!
Kay, my dog needs to go out... so I'm keeping it short today... CIAO...

Just thinking...
I was thinking today... (I know strange huh? LOL j/k)... Mark and I will reach the 5 year mark coming up on the 24th... Nowadays, it isn't common for a couple to date for that long before getting engaged/married... So, I am going to post a poll. You all better answer! lol... or I will find you... haha (please be somewhere warm when I find you...) Anyways, I want to know how long each married couple that reads this, dated before they were engaged or married. Kay? I want to see if there is a trend... Also, could you post your answer since I don't think it tells me who answered what... Lol ... I know not enough people read my blog for this to be scientific or anything... but I'm curious...
So, we were outside with Sascha the other day playing fetch. Well, the back yard doesn't have much grass, so it was pretty muddy. Needless to say, her ball got pretty dirty. I had a dish of water out for her to drink, but apparently she had a different idea for it. She plopped her ball right into it and started swishing it around with her paw to rinse it off. Now, come on, is that a smart dog or what? LOL... Mark and I just laughed our asses off... Like "Did she really just do that?" ... It was great! Then, she decided that the water was actually fun, so she tried just playing in it with her paws... which didn't really work since it's a little drinking bowl, and she is a pretty big dog lol... We are going to get her a little kiddie pool for her bday... Oh, that reminds me... She will be 1 on May 11th! Woo hoo! lol... She would like some fencing for the yard; a kiddie pool; some toys (i.e. Nylabones, balls (that she can't chew apart), tug toys (no squeeky ones)...); Schutzhund equiptment (like bite sleeves and stuff see leerburg.com)... that's about it...
I guess it's my bedtime... I worked 11-8 today and have another 11-8 tomorrow... im freaking tired... plus, I rolled my ankle around noon today and then jammed my already sprained thumb a few times into chairs throughout the day... doh! So, my ankle is pissed off ...kinda swollen and needs a break... too bad it isn't getting one... CIAO!

It's that time of year again...
So, my birthday is 6 days away!!!! YAY!! Super exciting! Mark and I have the day and night off from school and work, so if anyone wants to hang out, let us know. I think we are going to Red Robin for lunch or dinner or something 'cause I get a free burger haha. I'm always up for free food! Although, I did give up eating out for lent. It's saving us a bunch of money and testing my cooking skills, which aren't bad if I might say so myself. It helps to have parents that are good cooks (even though cooking ability probably isn't genetic... LOL). Anyways, here is my birthday wish list. lol I still make them even though I'm not a child anymore... just a kid at heart! lol
- Bath caddy (Bed Bath and Beyond)
- Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards
- A massage! (It's only $15 at GV Mall)
- IKEA gift cards
- Time with friends and family!
- A new used car. lol
- one of those camp fire things that you can have in the city...
Oh, and Alisha, I have a special request from you, a Nikon digital camera found on the beaches of Hawaii. LOL
Alrighty, I have to make dinner and do homework. Adios!

Okay, so it shouldn't be too long before you guys get some pics... lol I got a new cell phone, and ordered a cord so I can get pics (of really bad quality lol) from it ... when the cord arrives, i will upload some pics ... Then, eventually, I will receive a camera in the mail... (Thanks Alisha!)
We were outside the otherday, shoveling the lovely snow in the bitter cold, and Sascha was playing in the snow. It was so cute! She loves the snow, especially when it's thrown at her... lol We definitely needed a video camera at that time... She is adorable and so smart! Getting so big too! (And still thinks she is a lap dog...) Although, she has started shedding... ugh... hair EVERYWHERE! Her favorite thing is to play fetch! I can throw any toy for her and tell her "Bring" & "Leave it" and she is sitting waiting for me to throw it again, wagging her tail! I have been trying to work on heel with her, but it is so darn cold! I think I'm gonna try the basement, which is also cold, but no wind down there... lol One day I will make a video of how smart she is! It's so much fun! I wish I didn't have to work all the time though... I could spend much more time with her...
I have school Mon-Weds nights (4 classes), and work Thurs-Sun (usually 30+ hrs in 4 days)... it just drains me... I just need one day off from everything... just to myself... to recoup... but I have to work at least 4 days a week in order to keep my job... which I am trying to replace with something more enjoyable, like tutoring... I have been talking with the tutoring director at UMF... and I need a teacher recommendation to get a job there... The only problem with that is, I have only had one professor more than once at UMF... It would help if I could get some other kind of recommendation... Maybe Monica can get her teacher's recommendation for me... idk... so, my mind has quit working... time to veg... lol ciao
